Developing a world-class multi-use bicycle and pedestrian trail corridor.

Wasson Way is a proposed bike and pedestrian trail stretching over 7 miles from Victory Parkway to the Little Miami Bike Trail in Newtown, Ohio. It will give 100,000 people living within one mile of the trail, access to a network of over 100 miles of bike and pedestrian trails.

MKSK led a multi-discipline design team of engineers and wayfinding and transportation experts to engage the public and stakeholders and provide sustainable design solutions for this much anticipated cultural and recreational amenity for greater Cincinnati.

The City of Cincinnati recently purchased 4.1 miles of right-of-way needed to build Stage 1 of the Wasson Way trail. This 4.1 mile section runs from Montgomery Road, near Xavier University, to Wooster Road in Fairfax. MKSK is currently working with the City to design this first phase.

Future phases will connect to other regional trail efforts including the Little Miami Bike Trail, which would allow users to bike all the way to Cleveland, OH.
