David shares the delight of living places through design that welcomes all participants – from our neighbors to the tiny organisms that make up our ecological communities.

David loves observing behavior and studying how placement and proportion influence participation from the many living actors present in the landscape. From community master planning to planting design, David believes healthy relationships are born out of right arrangements, discovered through observation, listening, and reflection.
